Chicken Masala
1 kg chicken
Baba Chicken curry masala about 3 – 4 tbsp
Tomato puree – 2 tbsp
Tomatoes – 2
Ginger/Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1
Spices – Cardamon, Cinnamon, Flower, Clove
Serai
As usual make like chicken curry but thicken it to become like masala. Garnish with corainder
For the rice
Soak the briyani rice – 2 cups
For frying
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Spices – Cardamon, Cinnamon, Flower, Clove
Serai
Daun pandan
Small Onion – 5-6 (Grind)
Ginger – about 1 cm (add to small onion and grind)
Red chili – slit into 2
Green chili – slit into 2
If you dun have briyani masala, can jus add baba curry chicken masala – 1 tsp
Grind cashew nut/almond nut paste – as desire….
Fry the above then add the rice, stir for awhile. Add water and some carnation milk, salt and cook in rice cooker. Half cook, use wooden spoon to stir

Cashew nuts (fry with some ghee
Orange colour mix with Rose water
Pudina leaves
Fried onion
After the rice cooked take out all the spices, chilli, serai, pandan leave etc. Sprinkle some orange colour, add pudina, fried onion and cashew nuts. Slowly scoop the rice without breaking into another pot. Again Scoop the rice with some orange colour, add pudina, fried onion and cashew nuts to rice first. Continue doing this until you finish the rice.
Now scoop them back to rice cooker but this time, add the masala chicken (alternate it). If you dun fiinish the masala chicken, never mind. Heat up in cooker again and leave it there. Serve with achar if you want
